REMOTE, PART-TIME, SHORT-TERM CONTRACT Research Lead with SC Strategies
SC Strategies is seeking a Research Lead to oversee a short-term research project involving policing and local/county governments in Southern California.
The position will take place initially over a 4-month period, with a possibility of extending on a month-to-month basis if the project goes over schedule. The initial salary is $30/hr, and the position would require 15-20 hours/week. The hours are completely flexible, and this can be done fully remote. While we encourage all to apply, this would be a great temporary gig for folks who are already employed as entry- to mid- career political researchers looking for a side gig, folks who have research experience who are in-between jobs, and graduate students with research experience.
Duties include:
-Driving research direction and strategy
-Leading a team of research assistants/interns
-Coordinating with consulting firm who will be assisting
-Overseeing the drafting and editing of the final, public report
